someone once told me "the first sentence of your writing is a fight for your life." and I want to say that whatever it is you fought didn't stand a chance because this first line is it.
You can both transport me somewhere I've never been before and speak in a way that sings to something inside of me that I know is true but never had the words for.

How often you give me this feeling of validating something I've already known but had forgotten until you mirror it back to me - like a deja vu of the mind - or a new experienced moment that somehow I recognize. Shared precognition perhaps. I'm still figuring out the words for it. I'm very, very grateful to you for it.
